SA2 Automation System

The SA2 is an economical, simple single screen automation system for projection and auditorium functions. The modular design can easily be expanded to control additional functions and devices. It is easy to operate and allows interlock operation.

• 2 cue detectors on the projector detect cue foils on the film and activate program routines sequentially
• The program routines provide sequences for start, stop, 3 switch selectable picture formats, 2 switch selectable sound formats and film breaks
• 6 separate rotary switch selectable interlock groups included
• Rotary switches with easy-to-understand icons select 2 picture and 2 sound format combinations for format changes during the show
• Manual override is possible during the show
• Film break routines for single and interlock operation
• Optional status panels indicate: system ready / trailers running / main program running / credits running / film break
• Up to 21 dry contacts for projector and auditorium functions
• Optional expansion modules available for later upgrades: pay for only what you need now, any future needs will only require an inexpensive upgrade
• Sound format switching via RS 232 (CP 650) or dry contacts available installed in Kinoton column or console projectors or in a wall mount cabinet
• Single cable interlock and status combination network reduces wiring costs
• Networked relay boards for lights, curtain and sound control can be mounted remotely to ease installs
