(Note: North Beacon Street mentioned below is a totally different road than Beacon Street)

1. From Downtown Boston (North End area) [NO TRUCKS]:

Take Storrow Drive Westbound. This road’s name changes to Soldiers Field Road, but just continue. After the IHOP restaurant (blue roof, on left), take first left (a U-turn) towards Brighton Center. Immediately bear right (not a sharp right) on Route 20 (Birmingham Parkway). Follow Route 20 right (opposite the rear of McDonald’s) onto North Beacon St. Immediatly after you come out from beneath the overpass, Goodenough Street goes to the right. Kinoton America's door is off the parking lot located about 500 feet down Goodenough on your left.


[Tip: Storrow Drive/Soldiers Field Road can be confusing. When you first get on Storrow, you go thorough a short left curving tunnel. Leaving the tunnel stay to the right whenever possible until you have passed the "Kenmore Sq-Fenway-Rt. 1 S " exit. From then on stay to the left (signed "Newton") whenever possible until the road is no longer divided. Continue straight ahead; the IHOP (see above) is about ½ mile ahead.]

2. From Downtown Boston (South Station area) and Logan Airport [Trucks OK]:

Take I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) Westbound. Get off at Exit 20, Brighton-Cambridge. After the toll booth bear left (sign: Brighton) and you’ll go around a right-turning corkscrew. After about 1 mile, at the 5th traffic light, (fire station on left, "Twin Donuts" in front of you) turn right onto North Beacon Street. In about 7/10 mile, just before you would go beneath an overpass, turn left onto Goodenough Street. Kinoton America's door is off the parking lot located about 500 feet down Goodenough on your left.
3. From the West [NO TRUCKS]:

Take I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) Eastbound. Get off at Exit 17, the Newton-Watertown Exit (this is the first exit after you pass I-95/Route 128). Continue straight ahead, then turn left just after the 4th traffic light (about 4/10 mi) onto St. James Street (this is also marked Charlesbank Road, and is just left of the entrance ramp to I-90 Eastbound). In 1/10 mile, at a yellow blinking light, make a sharp right turn onto Charlesbank Road which then goes down a hill and merges onto Nonantum Road Eastbound. Continue on Nonantum until you pass a traffic light and enter an interchange where the road divides; a sort of traffic circle. The IHOP restaurant (blue roof) will be in front of you. Bear right (not a sharp right) on Route 20 (Birmingham Parkway) towards Brighton Center and North Beacon Street. Turn right (opposite the rear of McDonald’s) under an overpass onto North Beacon St. Immediatly after you come out from beneath the overpass, Goodenough Street goes to the right. Kinoton America's door is off the parking lot located about 500 feet down Goodenough on your left.
4. From the West [Trucks OK]:

Take I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) Eastbound. Get off at Exit 18, marked Brighton-Cambridge (this is a left exit). After the toll booth bear left (sign: Brighton) and you’ll go around a right-turning corkscrew. After about 1 mile, at the 5th traffic light, (fire station on left, "Twin Donuts" in front of you) turn right onto North Beacon Street. 5. From the North [NO TRUCKS]:

Take I-93 south. Just after I-93 becomes elevated, take the exit to Storrow Drive. Proceed as in paragraph "A."
6. From the North [Trucks OK]:

Take I-93 south. From the tunnel below Boston exit onto I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) Westbound. Proceed as in paragraph "B."
7. From the South [Trucks OK]:

Take I-95 north. Take I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) East and proceed as is paragraph "C" or "D."
8. Via Bus:

The MBTA #64 bus has a stop at 284 North Beacon Street. It runs between Central Sq. and Kendall Sq. (Cambridge) and Oak Sq. (Brighton) via Union Sq. (Allston).

The MBTA #86 bus stops two blocks away from us (cor. Market and N. Beacon St’s). It runs between the Sullivan Square (Charlestown) Orange Line station and the Green Line "D branch" Reservoir station. It also connects to the "B" and "C" branches.

MBTA Bus #s 57, 65 and 501 stop about ½ mi. away in Brighton Center (walk down Market St to N. Beacon and turn left or take the #86 bus). For bus assistance: http://www.mbta.com or 1-800-392-6100

9. Via Air:

Many US and international airlines serve Logan International Airport (BOS). USAirways (US), Delta (DL), United (UA), American (AA) and Northwest (NW) have the most flights. Logan is about six miles east of us. Taxi fare from the airport is about $25.00.

The best GA airport is Hanscom Field, Bedford, MA (BED), about 15 miles NW.

We are in a one story brick and concrete block industrial building at the corner of North Beacon Street (no connection to Beacon St.) and Goodenough Street (Pronounced GOOD-EN-OH). The North Beacon Street wall has a 3' x 22' blue illuminated "BL&S" sign. There is a white sign over the KA door on Goodenough St.
